The Yard Milk Shakes

As someone who does not like milk shakes, THIS PLACE IS GREAT! The closest one to me is located in Atlanta, Georgia so they are a hike unless you live in the city. I really enjoyed my milkshake and they have other specialty shakes, ice creams, and edible cookie dough. There isn’t a topping they don’t have and my favorite part is the whipped cream. The prices here are high, but you are also paying for an experience. 

My Order

I built a custom shake and use the strawberry cheesecake ice cream (pictured). I added normal whipped cream, strawberry drizzle (my favorite part), chocolate chips, and cherries. Super delightful!

Another Shake

My best friend went to the shop with me. She ordered a cookies and cream milkshake with Oreo whipped cream (pictured in the background). I have never seen a place with this whipped cream so I was amazed. 

Specialty Shakes

If you have a massive sweet tooth, these are for you! They have donuts on top of them and even whole pieces of cheesecake!! I couldn’t quite find a set flavor topping combination on these that I liked so I used the specialty shakes to build my own shake. 

Mason Jar Milkshake

Some milkshakes come in mason jars. You pay extra for it when building your own shake or if you get a specialty shake it automatically comes with it. Something really cool about the restaurant was they had sinks to wash and take the jars home when you finished. 

Dine in vs To go 

There really is no difference. We got ours to go but ended up sitting down and eating part of it in the diner. There are tables inside and outside. Lots of people were visiting the place, but honestly it did not feel crowded at all. 

Ordering 

Before ordering, you have to stand outside in a line. If you live in a cold area or go on a cold day, please be prepared for you (and possibly your kids) to be outside in the cold. Once you order, they are very quick with getting it to you. 

Bathroom 

The code for the bathroom is on the bottom of the receipt! Just a tip.
