Rejuvenate at Spa Cenvaree, Centara Grand Maldives: A Luxurious Wellness Retreat in Paradise

The relaxation of the spa was something I thoroughly enjoyed. I had a really nice two hour experience here at Spa Cenvaree where my mom had a two hour completely different experience, each special and personalized. 

My Experience 

I had a two hour experience chosen from the spa buffet. The spa buffet allows you to pay for 1 hour, 90 minutes, or two hours with price increasing each time. I think the 2 hour time is around $200 and 90 minutes around $180. 
Once you have chosen your time slot with payment, you can chose which of the services you would like to fill that time with. I had a one hour facial, 30 minute body scrub, and 30 minute foot massage. I LOVED this combination. 

You begin by showering off. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash combination is given to you. Bring your own hairbrush!! A towel and undies were provided to me but I also brought an extra change of clothes for the very end when I was leaving because I didn’t want to wear the same clothes I arrived in. 
I began with a body scrub after my shower. First was my feet and then I got onto the table. This was definitely my favorite art of the entire experience. After she finished my whole body, I got back into the shower and was given a fresh towel and undies. My skin has never been so soft. 
Next was the foot massage. She did a wonderful job and I felt like I was walking on new feet after. She also rubs a little bit of the leg which was really nice. 
Last was the one hour facial. I really enjoyed this. I wish it would have included extractions but it was nonetheless refreshing to my skin. None of the products made my face break out and the neck and shower massage was the best part. In fact, my back was so messed up at the end the lady went above and beyond that she sat me up to work out the knots in my back. Over the top service! 

My Mom’s Experience 

My mom also had a great spa buffet experience. She chose the two hour time slot and filled it with the 30 minute foot massage, one hour body massage, and refreshing mini facial 30 min. She said the foot massage was the best she’s ever had. 

Spa Teas 

Two spa teas were served, one before and one after our experience. The one before we actually bought and we make at home now. It is really easy to make, delicious, and healthy. It is served cold. The name of it is butterfly pea tea. The one after the experience is served hot and was also good but similar to teas we have at home so we did not buy it. 

Spa lotions for sale 

I did buy some of the spa lotions and scrubs for sale. I really like them so here’s a breakdown: 
Mango lotion: love the scent and a lighter consistency 
Vanilla body butter: the most hydrating lotion I’ve ever used, smells great but very dense (I didn’t mind the density)
Coconut sea salt scrub: very course and natural which I like but it was really hard to take home because the Coconut oil leaks everywhere 
Mango body scrub: did not buy this, it was too thin with not enough “scrub” for me
other scents: there were lotions in other scents but I did not prefer the scent and I already had everything I wanted. 

Sauna 

Apparently, the spa had a sauna but it was sadly closed due to covid. 

Covid

The Spa did take Covid precautions. The staff all wore masks. When I was face up (except for the facial) the lady put the mask on me for me, but all other times I did not need to wear one which is nice.
