7/12/2021 0 Comments Restaurants in 30AHere is a list of all the restaurants I have tried in 30A. The ones I really liked and have more information on will have their own posts, linked in this one, so enjoy the read, it should be an easy one! Bud and Alley’sI have written its own post for this restaurant but I really enjoyed their food especially the delicious crab cakes! Pizza by the SeaUnfortunately I don’t have any pictures from this place, but I thought their pizza was amazing! For pizza (and a teenagers budget) I thought the food was a tad pricy but honestly very worth it. The service was easy to navigate (order at the counter and then sit down wherever) and the food was fast. Dine in or take out… both will ensure a great pizza! Pizza by the sea is located by Rosemary Beach and Seacrest Beach. It is near the Seacrest beach trading company store and Smallcakes 30A. Old Florida Fish HouseOkay… so this one has a story. I was super excited to eat here and even budgeted for it. The atmosphere is outdoors with soft cushions, vibrant colors, and strung lights right near the water. I did not call ahead and it was very crowded by the time I showed up, so they said they had no more outside space. That was my first disappointment. They sat my friend and I (probably because we were two teenagers) at a high top table by the bar. They did not even seat us inside at a table… We were the only ones in the room we were sat in and we were less than thrilled. Then I saw the menu. The prices were outrageous and probably would have been more worth it had we been sat somewhere nice where you are half paying for the food and half of the environment. I will say the service was great though. Next, I couldn’t find anything I liked on the menu. That is 100% my fault for not checking ahead of time. However, when it says fish house you automatically think an excess amount of seafood options, instead we were greeted with half a menu of just SUSHI? Yeah… I do like sushi but I was not in the mood to eat it when I had thought I would be eating a nice piece of fish or a delicious crab cake. So with that perfect storm all coming together, we were sat by the bar (with empty tables in the main inside room), the prices were outrageous, and my friend and I both couldn’t find anything we liked on the menu, we faked a lame excuse and quickly got the heck out of there. Smallcakes 30aI was probably here once a day every day… read about it in it’s own post! The HubWe ate here a bunch of times. It’s basically a place where there is events and music and a lot of little restaurants that you can order from and are “fast food” but don’t taste anything like fast food. The prices range from $10-$20 per meal and are mostly around $12. I especially loved the beef quesadilla from the Mexican restaurant there called Macho Taco and oftentimes ended up eating that after a failed dinner attempt. I also tried a fish sandwich from hooked, the seafood place there and the BBQ always smelled good but I was really loving the quesadilla. Be aware, it is hard to find a parking place there but I always did get very lucky. The Donut HoleHOLY MOLY! I am in love with this place. The Donuts are truly worth it and worth the wait. I ended up meeting my lacrosse coach here for a breakfast meal. I had bacon and eggs and a donut. I had the strawberry cream and it was AMAZING! Later on I had the blueberry and it was so good!! The bacon was perfect and I am very picky about my bacon. My coach’s husband got an omelet which was enormous and I really wanted to get one but I simply couldn’t fit it in. Her kids shared the chocolate chip pancakes which have a 12” diameter. Everything here was seriously amazing but it is very crowded with a lie out the door just for donuts and typically a wait for a table. It took us a while to park but we did get seated fairly quickly. Please give it a try! I hope you check out some of these restaurants around 30a… I did end up eating the same thing multiple times which is why the list is so short and the first time I visited seaside we cooked our own meals to save money.
