Miami Beach, Florida

Another short post here for a short trip to Florida. I didn't spend much time in Miami beach, but I really liked it here. The water was warm and the weather was fair. There is a lovely boardwalk and a nice beach. Chairs were complimentary through the hotel I stayed at, called the Como. Yes, Como will have a separate post. :)

I went to the beach by myself for a few hours. It is definitely windy enough to kite board here, but not enough for there to be any good surf. Being on a beach, any beach really, by myself has my anxiety through the roof. Everyone knows there is strength in numbers and I had no numbers. I had to keep track of all my stuff on a public beach where you could potentially run into anyone. Yeah...
Honesly though, super safe. I never felt threatened or endangered or exploited. Nobody was looking to take my stuff and everyone minded their own business. I had no issues here, just a good time.
The ocean might have been a little rough for little kids who wanted to swim a lot, but there are pools and it was probably just the seasons. I was here over a full moon and extremely high tide. This made for some rougher conditions. All in all though, just a good way to pass some time and do something I can't do at home.
