Guys let me tell you, this place was a breeze. It was not absolutely perfect, as nowhere can be, but the way they handle unfavorable situations was outstanding. To tell and review this place, I will be breaking it up into categories such as room, beach, food, wifi, service, location, etc. The RoomsRooms were great! Each had a stable balcony, a fantastic bathroom, and a nice clean vibe. After all is said, remember these are really just rooms and the time spent in them should be minimal. There was a bed a couch a table a small bar and another bed. The couch converted into a bed for my brother and then we had two double beds. The bathroom is of good size and has a nice sliding barn style door. The balcony rocks and our view was fantastic but I cannot speak for the view in every room. The rooms are cleaned daily and have a typical hotel style with towels and shampoos provided. In order to get around, I used the stairs the entire time. I found it a good way to stay in shape and I could never find the elevator. The stairs were just easier but there is definitely an elevator. The BeachLovely beach! Typical of seven mile beach, clear waters, white sand. Snorkeling is an option and I highly recommend trying it. Snorkeling, however, is not the most magical thing here. While there are plenty of fish, what makes seven mile beach so perfect is the white sand, not leaving as much space for corals. Still, please snorkel though. The beach here has a rock protection that looks as if it makes a half circle. This has a middle opening and is free to pass through. You will not get in trouble for venturing outside the rocks but there can sometimes be a small current. You can see the break in the rocks in the background of this photo of my mom. The LocationCouldn't ask for a better location. This resort is right on the beach, seven mile beach. It is walking distance to other major hotels and restaurants (such as Coconut Joes- see post). There is a dive shop located right next door. To whatever it is not walking distance to, they offer complimentary bikes!! I did take the bikes to the grocery store (this was unnecessary but I wanted sweet tea) and they were great. They have horns and are in good condition.
When facing the ocean, if you swim or walk a good distance to the left, eventually there will be a great shipwreck with lots of life and crabs on it. Super fun little activity and great for families with children old enough to snorkel. Mildly shallow. The FoodAlthough I never ate here much, what I had was delish. I stuck to the pizza mostly, which is what I recommend. That pizza was amazing! It only takes 10 minutes to make and it is super good. I don't recall breakfast being included with our stay. I know I ate my breakfast at the coffee shop next door. The Coffee ShopYESSSS!!! This is a must!!!! During the morning and probably all day this place serves coffees and teas as refreshments and your choice of maybe a bag of chips of literally any pasterie you would like. SOOO GOOD!!! They serve desert style foods once breakfast is over, however, in the morning they have muffins and croissants and croissants with ham and cheese and all kinds of breakfast pasteries. I ate a criossant there every day and then later got a cookie or a piece of cake every night. They even have partnered with the resort so you can just charge their goods to your room!! (dangerous I know!) The Service Great service here. I had trouble with the wifi at first and they helped me get it figured out in 15 minutes. They help with bags and calling shuttles. The workers are friendly and helpful. Rooms are cleaned daily, and even when our shower broke, we were given a new room almost immediately. The Wifi and AmenitiesWifi is provided here and does work well. Does not work on the beach but that also helped me get off my phone in this digital age and really enjoy my surroundings. The multitude of pools were great for kids and really anyone who enjoys that. As a kid, the only thing I wanted was the pool, but now the only thing I want is the beach. I went in the pool twice maybe but they were nice. One of them even has a swim up bar! Photography OportunitiesFor those of you readers who are just like me, photography is a hobby that is enjoyable. This place had endless photo opportunities. I ran around like a madwoman with my brand new camera and took pictures of whatever I thought would put together a good picture, of all different things. Below are some shots I got, no edits. The NegativesThere were quite a few bugs by the pool area so please just be aware of that. Also, in our room had a broken shower. At any minute we were going to fall through the floor, it was scary. After dealing with it for one night we had a room change and that shower was perfectly fine. Other than that, nothing negative about this place. Great atmosphere! They do not play as much Jimmy Buffet as you would think though :( Thanks for reading!
