4/25/2024 1 Comment Geosite Piaynemo Raja Ampat's bucket list site <3 Where is Piaynemo?Tucked away into North Raja Ampat's Piaynemo islands is this beautiful geosite - and it really does look just as good as the internet photos. We came here with our live aboard trip Several homestays offer trips here as well. I highly recommend going! Take a hikeThe best time to go is during the mid afternoon. This is also the hottest time to go, but there is a huge difference the sun makes on the water in Indonesia when its high in the sky. Check out these drone photos below to show the sun's difference on how the water works. The left was taken at 6am and the right at 2pm. You can see the clear difference in water quality. Note: these are not from Piaynemo. I went around 5pm and the sun was already too low for the amazing photos that are on the internet with the glowing blue water, but the one's I got still came out great. In order to get to the top, you'll need to hike a large amount of stairs - literally up a mountain. The stairs and the viewing site are very stable and wide, so this site is suitable for all hikers. On TopIt's beautiful up there... Bring your drone if you have one!! it's a beautiful place to fly and there's plenty of space to take off and land.
