4/7/2020 0 Comments Packing Do's and Don't'sHere are some basic do's and don't's for packing your bag before going on a trip! If you need more packing tips please see my other post about the 4 types of packers and how to overcome your type! Do's:Heres a few things to do when you're packing a bag! 1. Make a list- yes! Even if you're not a list person even just writing a few things in your phone that you know you need and have a high chance of forgetting can save you a lot of hassle later. 2. put any containers filled with liquids need to be put in ziplocks- If they spill, they just spill in the bag and not all over your clothes. Even if something looks super sturdy, the pressure change from the airplane or the angle that it sits at in a car ride etc. may cause even the most sealed items to spill. 3. Bring an extra bag for dirty clothes/ wet clothes- Get that extra time when traveling. Don't miss out on the last day or even the day before because you're worried about having wet clothes in your bag! Don't panic when your swimsuit or your snow flis is so wet it is going to make your bag disgusting and you don't know what to do! Plan ahead, bring extra bags to put wet and dirty clothes in for traveling back home. These will still go back in your suitcase but wet clothes and dirty clothes won't mess up everything else Don't'sHere's what NOT to do when packing your bag. 1. do not pack liquids next to clothes- Even though they're in the bag, try your best not to pack them right next to nice clothes 2. don't put shoes with their soles on the clothes- put shoes on the very top of everything else (maybe even put liquids on tp of the shoes) but also put the shoes soles facing up out of the bag so any gross stuff on the bottom doesn't get all over the clothes. That's all I got guys. Good luck to all of you packing bags and hopefully this was helpful. Leave a comment below if you have any questions!
