5/1/2022 0 Comments Seven Beach Photo IdeasHere are some of the best places to get pictures when you’re at the beach. They have great lighting and cute backgrounds. This is just some inspiration:) All of these photos were taken on an 11 pro max but they can be ideas for any camera! 1. The BoardwalkI’m absolutely obsessed with these boardwalk photos. I took them mid afternoon around 2 pm on an iPhone 11 Pro Max. I am standing mostly in the shade, except my hair is lit by the sun and everything around me is sunny. The ocean blue is in the background and these photos just came out great! 2. A White WallReally any wall with this texture is good for photos. I love white because it makes you look tan. However, the way I edit photos can sometimes cause white to turn blue, so be careful if you’re a heavy editor. This particular wall was just steps away from the boardwalk and was at the shower spot. Most people would overlook this as a background and opt for the shower photos, however my best friend and I were loving the wall. 3. The White Wall + Palm TreesA TOTAL beach vibe here. This spot was perfect for the two of us or for single shots. I love the pop of green with the white- so beachy! 4. Palm TreesI wish I would have posted these photos on instagram I love them so much. My best friend had the idea of getting my picture with my favorite tree, and it came out adorable. To avoid looking awkward standing alone, I gave the tree a hug. 5. On The Boardwalk CutoutBefore the stairs, this board walk popped out to the side. It served as the perfect place to take photos with nobody in the background on the stairs and the ocean in the back. The lighting was great and everything looks super good here. To help control the wind, I held my hair to the side at the bottom which was a really good casual way to control a lot of hair. Let’s talk individual posing here- The railing comes up rather high as you can see in the bottom three photos where I’m standing on the ground. On the top photo, I’m sitting on the railing, which can sometimes look tedious on camera. To help prevent a major thigh spread making my legs look huge, I sat on the very edge of the railing and tried to elongate my legs as much as possible making sure that I’m also not hunched over. The key is to not look unnatural but it also should be slightly uncomfortable. 6. The Door To The HouseWhich door it is depends on the house. In our house, we used to back door which led to a small balcony to take these photos. A lot of people do this to take photos at the beach, making it a pretty basic thing to do, but the photos came out really well! The key to these photos is to stand inside the house while the photographer stands outside. The lighting will pay off even if the background isn’t as nice. 7. In Front of Large GreeneryA very different background for me and most people probably. However, the lighting here was perfect and lit the bush well (and me) without being overpowering directly in my face. Don’t mind my hairbrush in the background… To wrap up, I just want to remind everyone that these are just for inspiration. They were all taken on the same day mid afternoon from 2-4 pm on an iPhone 11 Pro Max. I kept a hairbrush on me so I could brush my hair after the wind messed it up.
Happy photo taking!
