Originally built in Spain and then SHIPPED to Miami Florida, The Ancient Spanish Monastery is one of the coolest places I've ever been. I visited here for a photography project but its a place I've been wanting to go for a while. It costs $5 for student entry with student ID and $10 for normal admission. Taking photos of the building is free but photoshoots cost $350. All the photos I got are free since I took them of myself on timer. PRO tip: I went right when they opened so that I could take photos without people in the background. They opened at 10 and from 10-11 I had the whole place to myself. At 11 there were a few more people and by 12 it was very crowded. Hours of OperationTheir hours of operation are posted on their website. However, it is essential that you check the separate PDF on their website too for detailed monthly hours. This is helpful because they close random days for private events and weddings.
